Acting up & standing out in school was Zak G’s forte, as he was the Prom King and Class Clown of his high school class. He channeled that same energy into his music and a broadcasting degree which eventually found him a job at Syracuse’s iHeartMedia in talk radio.

While all of this was growing his talents, music emerged to be his true passion and ultimate goal. After a leap of faith, he decided to go full force towards his dreams of being an artist. He left iHeartMedia to move closer to NYC by route of Jersey City.

Since then, the “do-it-yourself” approach has become his focus, performing, writing, producing and engineering his own music. Networking and collaborating with other producers and artists, putting on live shows, promoting works through social media and even designing his own website. This has been the journey for independent artist Zak G.
